ORDERING & PICKUP
Q: Are you open to the public? Can I purchase a cake the same day?
A: We are a working kitchen and do not offer walk-in shopping or ready-made cakes. Every cake is made fresh to order.
Q: How far in advance should I order?
A: Please refer to the available dates when ordering from our online cake collections. For tiered cakes, larger celebrations or special requests, please email us to check availability. We recommend contacting us at least two weeks in advance, with additional lead time for larger events.
Q: When is pickup available?
A: Pickup is available during designated weekday pickup windows. After placing your order, you'll be prompted to select from the available pickup dates and times. We are not open for weekend pickup. If none of the available pickup times work for you, please contact us before placing your order.
Q: How does curbside pickup work?
A: When you arrive during your scheduled pickup time, pull up to the building and call us at 914-725-1026. We'll bring your order out to you.
INGREDIENTS & ALLERGENS
Q: Are all Flourish products vegan?
A: Yes. Everything we bake is 100% vegan and made without eggs, dairy or other animal products.
Q: Are you a dedicated nut-free kitchen?
A: We do not use any tree nuts or peanuts in our kitchen. Coconut is not botanically a nut, and we do use coconut in some of our products. Please contact us prior to ordering if you have a severe, life-threatening nut allergy.
Q: Is the kitchen certified gluten-free?
A: No. We do use wheat and recommend that those with celiac disease make their choices accordingly. We use best practices to keep wheat and gluten-free ingredients separate and clean and sanitize our work surfaces and baking equipment to help prevent cross-contact.
Q: Do you use organic ingredients?
A: Most of our baking staples and pantry items are certified organic, including flours, sugars, plant milks and oils. We source certified organic fruits and vegetables and seasonal local produce when available at the market.
Q: Do you use artificial colors?
A: No, our colors are plant-based, free from synthetics and dyes. Pinks - beets | blue - spirulina | yellow - beta carotene | lavender - spirulina and grape juice | green - beta carotene and spirulina
Q: Do you use GMO ingredients?
A: No. We do not use GMO ingredients.
Q: Are your containers recyclable or compostable?
A: Our containers are recyclable, depending on local recycling capabilities, but not compostable. We limit the amount and type of packaging we use whenever possible.
SHIPPING
Q: Do you ship?
A: We do not ship our baked goods. We do ship our meringue powder, which can be ordered online.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Meringue powder orders ship within 48 hours via USPS or UPS Ground to addresses within the contiguous United States. Depending on your location, your package may take up to five days to arrive after shipping. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
