white bean shakshuka
Traditionally, shakshuka is a poached egg stew served for weekend brunch. Considered to be a Mediterranean style comfort food, it can be enjoyed as an all purpose meal-starter. We prepare our shakshuka as a stew, with tomatoes, peppers, cannellini beans, swiss chard and of course, plenty of cumin. Enjoy over crusty bread with a drizzle of olive oil or as a vegetable side dish. Each container serves 2 to 4 portions.
