Covid-19 has made us more mindful of our actions, in particular, how we procure and eat our food as well as the safety of the establishments we support.

We take the following precautions in our kitchen to ensure the health and safety of our employees, our work environment, and our products during this health crisis:

As always, we follow best manufacturing practices in our kitchen. This means we clean and then sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, cooking equipment, and pots and pans on a daily basis. We require that our kitchen staff wash their hands with soap and water (following the twenty-second rule) before starting work, after lunch, and after any bathroom or personal break. The staff is required to use disposable gloves and masks at all times while working in the kitchen (to be replaced as needed during the workday).

Management and staff practice safe social distancing. Management and staff are instructed not to come to work if they are not feeling well and to arrange for a Covid-19 test.

Deliveries are left on the loading dock for our staff to check in and store. We limit persons needing to enter the kitchen on an as need basis and all are required to wear a mask in order to enter.

Our facility is naturally ventilated. There is no air conditioning system in the kitchen.

Our storefront remains closed to the public. All transactions are through curbside pickup.

We will revise these sanitary and safety guidelines to adhere to any updates of federal CDC/NIH as well as state guidelines in addressing Covid-19.
